We are continuing a quick sketch sessions.. Just James and Kira worked last night with a new model.

After a life time of sewing and dress making Lois is attempting to learn to draw and paint working through the atelier syllabus she is finding many parallels to the world of textiles in term of layers and measuring and seeing patterns.

Life Session with Holly

We held a life drawing session at the studio today. It was the first of multiple sessions with our new model, Holly. She sits so still and does a great job of getting back into her pose. By the end of our first session it was hard to believe that she has had no prior experience as an art model. We are looking forward to working with her again.
